She was predeceased by: her husband John Ellis Jeter; her parents, Adus Tucker, Sr. and Sallie Ann Tucker; her children, David Jeter, John Henry Jeter and Johnnie Ruth Jeter; her granddaughter Rhonda Jones; her siblings, Willie Tucker, Charlie Tucker, Arthur Tucker, Adus Tucker, Jr., Aggie Jones, Janie Kennedy, Elvira Murray, Ida Tucker and Sallie Mae Harrison; and her stepdaughter Myrtis Ann Threat.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Jeter, Randolph Jeter, Ruby Mae Stewart (Lee), Doris Johnson (James) and Irene Brooks (Brian); her stepson John B. Woodson; and her siblings-in-law, Sam Harrison, W. T. Jones, Nancy Tucker and Betty Jeter. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; forty-six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
