He is survived by: his daughter Kerri Harper; his stepchildren, Kevin Choice, Kim Choice-Scudder, Karen Choice, Kathleen Choice, Kelly Choice and Korine Edwards; his grandchildren, KaVon Choice, Terrell Choice, Qwanza Harper and Deonte Harper; his siblings, Hillard Jones Jr., Bertha J. Mobley, Clara Gaffney, Mary A. Byrd and Lou Jean Thomas (Johnnie); and his caregiver Miranda Jeter.
