She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Lt Thomas; her parents, Waitis Cheek and Eva Johnson Cheek; her siblings, Herman Cheek, Charlie Cheek, Raymond Cheek, Leroy Cheek, Theodore Cheek, Juanita Good, Carrie Smith, Ruth Gist and Janie Lee Flowers; her grandchild Chartay Jeter; and her great grandchild Cornelius Berry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Walton, Bonnie Thomas, Barbara Peake (Bobby) and Michelle Thomas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 113 Cindy Ln, Union, SC 29379. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel.
