She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Sims and Louise Gist; her husband Curtis Edwards; her child Minister Elgusta "Gus" Wright (Brenda); and her siblings, Harold Gist, Estes Jeter and Helen Gist Wilson.
She is survived by: her child Mount.
