He is survived by: his children, Pastor James Smith (Thelma), Joseph Smith (Chrystal), Benjamin Smith, Casandra Tucker and Carmen Renee Davis; his stepchildren, Linda Thompson (Terry), Dwight Smith, Terrel Smith, LaTasha Farr, Ursula Jennings (Jack) and Nian Denise Thompson; and his siblings, Georgia M. Peale, Minnie Pearl Rice, Bernestine Gregory and McArthur Glenn (Betty). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
