As we bid Jones farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jones is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gossett and Willie Bell Rice. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Rice and Calandra Littlejohn (King); and his siblings, Robert Rice, Brenda Rice and Jannie Gist. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethesda Baptist Church.
