He is survived by: his children, Melvin Allen (Eunice) of York, SC, Gwendolyn Allen of Union, SC and Keith Worthy of Union, SC; his grandchildren, Brian Gist, Kayla Allen, Taylor Allen and Tyler Allen; his great grandchildren, Zyan Allen and Ryan Allen, Jr.; and his siblings, Floyd Allen (Donna) of Union, SC, Elmore Allen of Union, SC, Linnwood Allen (Georgia) of Union, SC, Nellie Shippy of Jonesville, SC, Josephine Murphy of Kelton, SC and Barbara Ross of High Point, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
