He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sylvia Elmira Shell Byrd of Columbia, SC and Hayes Byrd, Sr.; his son Hayes O'Ryan Byrd III; his sisters, Angela Byrd of Atlanta, GA, Theresa Byrd of Los Angeles, CA, Debra Byrd of Columbia, SC and Sharon Richardson (Morgan) of Columbia, SC; and his stepsister Audrey Hopkins of Columbia, SC. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
