She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Gault; her stepparent Charles Albert Potter; and her spouse George Gordan Bishop, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Harriett Ruth Kennett Gault; her daughter Ruth Ann Bishop Lambert (David) of Spartanburg; her stepdaughters, Debbie Howell Littlejohn (Pat) of Jonesville and Claudia Howell Belue of West Union; her stepgrandchildren, Rebecca Lambert Mathis (Adrian) of Pacolet and James Christopher Lambert (Abigail) of Glendale; her niece Amy Bundrick (Jerry); and her nephew Joseph Hodges (Cindy) of Chapin.
