He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis McGowan Sr. and Joan Wood Parker; his close friend Sherrie Coats; his siblings, Michael McGowan, Jason McGowan and Rhonda Gregory; his uncle Ray Wood; his stepchildren, Cecil Coats Jr., Renea Lynn Johnson, Crystal Mack, Nikkie Joyner and Nicole Brannon; and his sisters, Janet Northern and Peggy Wallace. He was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren, and 4 fur babies.
