It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Dawkins (Union, South Carolina), who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Phorzene Dawkins, Sr.; her parents, Eddie Rodgers and Viola Elizabeth Robinson Rodgers; her children, Jerry Dewitt Dawkins and Deborah Dawkins Blume; her siblings, Robert Rodgers, Edward Rodgers, Tinnie Rodgers, Timothy Rodgers, George Rodgers, Janie Ross and Viola of Washington; and her children-in-law, Lillian Dawkins and Roger Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Phorzene Dawkins, Jr., Cornell Dawkins, Melvin Dawkins (Lyndia), Inell Boyd, Gloria Jean Dawkins and Judy Dawkins; and her son-in-law Howard Blume, Sr.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
