He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Sims and Alberta Allbright Sims; and his brother Butch Sims. He is survived by: his son Scott F Sims; his sister Alice Faye Heath; and his grandchildren, Tameka Grady and Tiffany Carpenter.
A reception will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home and Crematory (1247 Duncan Bypass, Union, SC 29379).
