He was predeceased by: his parent Bailey Elrod; his wives, Vera Stepp Elrod and Mona Cranford Elrod; and his sisters, Sandra Biggio and Susan Whiting.
He is survived by: his parent Rachel Elrod; and his daughter DeAnne Elrod Corley of West Columbia, SC.
