He is survived by: his wife Gussie Thompson (Epps); his daughters, Crystal Thompson (Jackie) of Rockhill, SC and Keisha Jones (Marquintus) of Union, SC.; his grandchildren, Ta'Maya and Ja'Quan Thompson; his siblings, Vanessa Gardenhire (Robert), Rose Fleming of Nashville, TN., William Thompson (Dorthy), Kenneth Thompson (Charlene) of Union, SC., Larry and Walter Hobson; his uncles, Golden and Ricky Stevenson; and his siblings-in-law, Albert, Edward, John, Terry (Lucille), Leroy Epps (Marjorie), Clara Stuckey, Corrine Sims (Eugene) and Marie Rutherford (Jerome). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
