It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Azaree Smith of Union, South Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Shirley "Fuzzy" Smith Thomas; and her siblings, Luster Smith, James William Smith, Paul Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Ellis Smith, Pauline Kershaw, Fannie Lou Kershaw, Varnell Smith and Clara Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Earl Smith, Gloria Young and Sharon Dean Nash. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
