Alford Baxter Bright III Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alford Baxter Bright III of Union, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Alford Baxter has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Baxter Bright, Jr. and Marie Marshall Bright Poliakoff. He is survived by: his wife Delle Ivey Bright of Union, SC; his sister Jeanne Mills (Ambrose) of Tryon, NC; his children, Laura Price (Christopher) of Mill Spring, NC, Carter Bright (Tracy) of North Charleston, SC, Alford "Barry" Bright (Eileen) of Spartanburg, SC and Stephen Bright (April) of Spartanburg, SC; and his stepsons, Kenneth Henderson (Betsy) of Union, SC and Kevin Henderson (Brooke) of Union, SC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
