She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Eldon Kirkland, Jr.; her parents, Hattie Erwin Perkins and Howell Eugene Perkins; her children, Ann K. Laffitte (Monty) of Bluffton, John Eldon Kirkland III (Christi) of Allendale and Genie Rae Roberson (Marty) of Allendale; and her grandchildren, Porcher Kirkland Scott (Michael), John Erwin Kirkland, Lindi Kirkland, Marie Williams Puckett (Brandon), Robin Williams Hilands (Wes) and Duncan C. Smith (Carmen). She was also cherished by ten great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
