He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike "Coot" Welch and Mary Feagin Welch; his siblings, Sidney Welch, Sally Marie Welch Miles, Henry Welch, Ruthie Nell Welch Coker, Mary Lee Welch Floyd, Thomas Welch and Martin Welch; his sister-in-law Mae Welch; and his parents-in-law, Delbert and Shelby Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Floyd Welch of Turbeville; his children, Amanda Welch Odom (Brian) of Turbeville, Daniel Lanair Welch (Brittney) of Turbeville and Brent Ladell Welch of Turbeville; his grandchildren, Kyler Phillip Odom, Jalynn Elaine Odom, Trenton Daniel Welch, Connor Lanair Welch, Adalynn Marie Welch and Asher Ladell Welch; and his brothers, Archie Welch of Turbeville, Ray Welch (Marjorie) of Turbeville and Elbert Welch (Rheba) of Barrineau.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church (1701 New Zion Rd, Lake City, SC 29560). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery (1701 New Zion Rd, Lake City, SC 29560).
