He is survived by: his wife Joann McWilliams Player; his children, Angela Renee Sieber (Shane Strimpfel), Johnnie L Player, Jr. (Pamela), Paul Anthony Player (Virginia Elaine) and David Elliott Player (Robin); and his brother Randy W. Player of Turbeville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pine Grove Methodist Church (1090 Morgan St, Turbeville, SC 29162). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
