She was predeceased by: her husband William Randolph Bennett; her parents, Silas P. Yates and Maggie Parker Yates; and her siblings, Ernest, Raymond, Larry Yates and Lillian Morley.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Bennett of Turbeville, Linda Bennett Floyd (Allan) of Van Dalia, OH, Donna Bennett Moore (Eddie) of Roanoke, VA and Vicki Bennett Jordan (Keith) of Lynchburg; her brothers, Hoyt Yates (Phyllis) of Turbeville and Elbert Yates of Florence; her grandchildren, Al Floyd (Vickie) of New Braunfels, TX, Keri Floyd Cox (Thomas) of Belton, TX and Kristopher Jordan (Miranda) of Sumter; and her great grandchild Jessica Floyd of Cockeysville, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
