He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Ricky L. Hatcher and Garland A. Baxley; his uncle Wayne A. Baxley; and his cousin Samiya Hatcher. He is survived by: his parents, James Allen Baxley and Amy Hatcher; his grandmothers, Sylvia Hatcher and Frankie Baxley; his brothers, Christopher Wayne Baxley (Kristina Hughes) of Lugoff and Zachery Strickland (Rebecca Rhodes) of Olanta; his nieces, Willow Strickland and Wynter Strickland; his nephew Wyatt Strickland; his aunt Gail Sweatt of McColl; and his uncles, Ronnie Hatcher (Daphne) of McColl, Ricky Lee Hatcher (Amanda) of McColl and Brad Sweatt of McColl. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
