She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bill Mitchum and Alethea Phillips Mitchum; her husband Carl Brown; and her siblings, Butch Mitchum, Charlene Brinson and Elaine Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Althea B. Mixon (Mike) of Lynchburg, Timothy Brown (Ninetta) of Utah and Will Brown (Sharon) of Scranton; her grandchildren, Haven B. Sheffield (Matthew) of Hartsville, Ashton Mixon of Murrells Inlet and Cody Brown of Utah; her great grandchildren, Celeste Brown and Ruby Brown of Utah; and her sisters, Willie K. Thomas of Texas and Donna Thomas of Moncks Corner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Great Commission Ministries (3503 W Turbeville Hwy, Lake City, SC 29560). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 3:40 PM at the Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery (4161 W Turbeville Hwy, Lake City, SC 29560).
