She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Vanover and Lillie Mae Carico Vanover; her husband Thomas Henry Young; her sisters, Louanne Waldrop and Judy Jackson; and her daughter-in-law Linda Sears Young.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Y. Brewer (Thomas), Thomas Henry Young, Jr. (Bo) and Susie Y. Walker (Bruce); her brother Phillip Vanover (Charlene); her grandchildren, Scott, Mike Brewer, Amy Dunn (Allen), Jeff Young (Beth), Traci Goldman (Matt), Matt Young (Taylor), Perrin Whitfield-Cargile (Davis), Elizabeth Walker and Sunni Sheppard (Wes); her great grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, Lucy Dunn, Bradley, Dylan Young, Emma, Davis Goldman, King, Campbell Young, Finn, Oliver, Tallulah Whitfield-Cargile, Walker Lutz, Rupert and Theo Sheppard; and her nieces, Jo Latham and Patsy Corley (Jimmy). She is also survived by her family and friends.
