In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ila had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ila may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Parkman and Jeanette Shaffer Parkman; her daughter Phyllis Maxwell; and her grandson Josh Burnett. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Welch (Steve) of Piedmont, SC, Lynn Hubbard (Glenn) of Atlanta, GA and George Bruce Wells, Jr. (Chuck) of Ninety Six; and her brother William Ira Parkman of Troy, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
