He is survived by: his children, Calvin Lanier (Catherine) of Troy, SC, Willie Thomas Lanier of Troy, SC, Jeffery Lanier (Janeen) of College Park, GA, Dennis Lanier of Lithonia, GA, Eric Lanier (Glenene) of Stone Mountain, GA, Sylvia Bell (Robert) of McCormick, SC, Diana Lanier Smith (Anthony) of Parrish, FLA, Valerie Gale Armstrong (Anthony) of Stockbridge, GA and Cassandra Whitfield (Wallace) of Southfield, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
