He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Minnie McNeely Johnson and George D. Johnson; his wife Peggy; and his children, Robert A. Deese (Judith), Richard C. Deese (Morene) and Wanda D. May (Kenneth). He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
