It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E Patterson of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Walter Frank Patterson and Myrtie Lena Branham Patterson; and his son-in-law Robert "Bobby" Tuten. He is survived by: his wife Mary Burnice Scott Patterson; his children, Deborah Tuten, Timothy Patterson (Juanita), Anthony Patterson (Carol) and Mark Patterson; and his sisters, Shirley James and Glenda Roberson.
