Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin J. McAbee; and her parents, John D. Chism and Velma Mae Chism (Wyatt). She is survived by: her children, Alethea Parker of Greer, Shelby Zink (David) of Easley, Audrey Anders of Travelers Rest and Doyle Glenn Anders of Woodruff. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Howze Mortuary, Inc. (6714 State Park Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Graceland West Cemetery (4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29610).
