We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2023, Thomas W. Henderson Jr. of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Wells Henderson and Christine Penn Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Horton Henderson; his children, Wells Henderson (Sarah) and Christine Tiller (Jerry); his grandchildren, Kingston Tiller and McKinley Henderson; his sister Penn Dean of Landrum; his sister-in-law Linda Horton (Paul Godfrey) of Asheville; and his nieces, Shannon Joseph of Greenwood, ReeTah Mauldin of Mars Hill, NC, Erin Godfrey Broach of Raleigh, NC and Henderson-Penn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Food Ministry at First Baptist Church Gowensville, 5650 N. Highway 14, Landrum, SC 29356.
