She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Owens Cantrell and Essie Taylor Cantrell; her husband Elbert Joe Thrailkille; and her brother Paul Cantrell. She is survived by: her children, Steve Thrailkille (Lynn), Sheron Johansson, Jorita "Jo" Chism (Ron) and Trena Bowling; and her brother James Cantrell (Ruth). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
