Shirley Louise Poplin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Poplin of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Paul Poplin, Jr.; her parents, Willie Johnson and Elizabeth Robinson Johnson; her son Wayne Paul Poplin; and her sister Ruby Higgins.

She is survived by: her children, Earl Whitaker (JoAnn), Darrell Whitaker (Kim) and Kathy Hansford (Wes); and her sisters, Ann Robinson and Ruth Gabriel. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
