It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Schmidt (Travelers Rest, South Carolina), who passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel LeJeune and Mitchell LeJeune; her husband Carl Theodore Schmidt; her daughter Karla Schmidt Mason; and her siblings, Herbert LeJeune and Shirley Anding.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Ferriss of Kinder, Danny Wayne Ferriss (Erica) of Sulphur and Scotty Hazelton (Belkis) of LeBleu Settlement; her siblings, Russell LeJeune of Vinton, Juanita Watkins of Oberlin and Linda LeJeune of Pitkin; her grandchildren, Jason, Brandie, Daniel Ferriss, Brittany Hazelton, Tucker Hazelton, Matthew Mason and Sydney Mason; and her great grandchildren, Haylie Esthay, Madison Esthay, Miles Ferriss, Peter Cole Ferriss and Rowen Hazelton.
