He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sandra Williams LaCroix; his children, Amilie H. LaCroix, Cheryl L. Conley and Richard J. LaCroix; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Cook-LaCroix, Charlotte LaCroix and Chandler Fleming; and his siblings, Charles LaCroix, Clarence LaCroix, Fred LaCroix and Ruby Barber.
