He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Johnson Hefle; his stepchildren, Debbie Hurley (Randy) of Midland, Laura Russell (Richard) of Greenville, Steven Bush (Trisha) of Chesapeake and Maggie Bush of Oneonta; his brother Louis Hefle, Jr. (Mary Jean) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his nephew Scott Hefle (Diane); his grandchildren, Joe Lunsford, Jr. (Rae), Amanda Russell, Anthony Russell, Shana Rydman (Andrew), Abigail Russell, Danielle Mitchell (Brook) and Andrew Bush; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Mitchell and Emersyn Lunsford.
