He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Wells; his parents, Reverend Ralph and Ruth Wells; and his siblings, Leon Wells and Evelyn Alberson.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanine Wells and Jeff Wells (Wanda); his granddaughters, Cindy Wells and Jennifer Queen (Josh); his great grandchild Mason Queen; and his sister Delores Duke.
