He is survived by: his wife Linda Bates Piper; his sons, Phillip David Piper (Cyndi) and Stephen Earl Piper (Tina Marie); his sisters, Nancy Roberts (Fred), Sharon Duncan (Larry) and Pam Hall (John); and his grandchildren, Taylor Bailey (Dakota), Kaera Martin, Zane Piper, Ana Piper, Chloe Piper and Josiah Piper.
