It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Othalene M Owen of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Balsam Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Clinton Owen of Travelers Rest; her father Oscar Joseph; her daughter Karen Owen Winchester; and her brothers, James McCall, Berlin McCall and Martin McCall.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith A Owen of Saluda, NC and Kenneth B. Owen (Betty) of Pickens; and her siblings, Gene McCall of Easley, Aileen Hayes of Georgia and Lulu Bell McClain of Balsam Grove, NC.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
