She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Cody and Nancy Ellen Cody (Poole); her husband James Edward Self; her brothers, James Gosnell, Randy "Buster" Cody and Tony Cody; and her stepson Jimmy Self.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda West, Traci West Willard and Margo Self; her stepdaughters, Kathy Reeves and Melissa Tatum; her siblings, Margaret Cody Coster, Vickie Kemp, Bobby Cody and Robbie Cody; her grandchildren, Cody Durham (Christina), Alexis James (Dakota) and Hunter Whitmire; and her great grandchildren, Cayden and Carter Durham (John Moore).
A memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at a later date as soon as community precautions for the COVID-19 virus have been lifted.
