She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert D. Butler, Sr. of Travelers Rest; her parents, Thomas A. Hammond and Pauline Duncan Hammond; her son-in-law John T. Plumblee, Sr.; and her siblings, Tom Hammond, Herb Hammond, Martha Hammond Brown and Helen Hammond Huff.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Butler (Janice), Lee Butler, Deborah B. Plumblee and Delores B. Stansell (Mike); her grandchildren, Tracy Parris (Jonathon), Bo Butler (Gwen), Tommy Plumblee (Beth), Leesa Plumblee Nelson, Tosha Stansell Webb, Allen Newton (Lindsay Burke) and Crystal Newton; and her sister Polly Hammond Worthy (Morgan). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
