It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Gregory Murphy of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Belleville, New Jersey, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Murphy and James Murphy; his brothers, Tommy Murphy and John Murphy; and his pets, Dakota and Juneau.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Murphy (Becky); his pets, Ollie (Ollie) and Rupert; his siblings, Jean Murphy and Jimmy Murphy; his aunt Diane; his uncles, Eddie Yesunas and Joe Yesunas (Amy Yesunas-Hansin); and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Gilbert (Murphy), Jimmy Murphy, Patrick Murphy, Sean Wong, Brandon Wong and Samantha Dugan. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins.
