He is survived by: his wife Sara Yeargin Gilstrap; his children, John Scott Gilstrap (Angela) of York, SC, Michael Todd Gilstrap (Kimberly Joy) of Travelers Rest, SC and Rhonda Gilstrap Gillespie (James H.) of Travelers Rest, SC; his grandsons, Collin Michael Gilstrap, Camron Todd Gilstrap, Garrett Howell Gillespie and Weston Reid Gillespie (Kaina); and his children, Jon-Scot Bradley Gilstrap and Jacob Wesley Gilstrap.
