He was predeceased by: his parents, John Warren Barbare, Sr. and Fairy Obera Dill Barbare; and his siblings, William Barbare, Joseph Barbare, Frances Taylor and Joan Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Luvenia Randolph Barbare; his children, Robin Saxon (Phillip), Crystal Schulte (Ben) and John Warren Barbare, III (Karen); his stepchildren, Connie Whitmire, Rickey, Russell and Randy; and his sister Jean Good. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
