She was predeceased by: her husband Don Lester Hart; her parents, Dean Westmoreland and Annie Poole Westmoreland; and her siblings, Dean Westmoreland Jr., Betty Gravitt and Emma Lee Bishop.

She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Hart Chastain (Gary) of Kannapolis, NC; her granddaughter Casey Nave Cox (Adam) of China Grove, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Evan and Lucas Cox.
