With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Mielke of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mielke and Alice Mielke (Hanahan); and his grandparents, Jim, Lois Hanahan (Taylor), Lew and Helen Mielke (Jones).
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles L. "Chuck" Mielke, Jr. (Bonnie) and Catherine "Cathy" Rozier (Tim); and his nieces and nephews, Stephen Masters, James Rozier (Lydia), Chris Rozier, Karen Matheney (Daniel) and Lindsey Wheeler (Lucas).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epworth Childrens Home, or to the charity of one's choice.
