He was predeceased by: his parents, Valcour Verrette and Fanny Verrette; and his siblings, Leroy Verrette, Amedine Fontenot, Earl Verrette and Burke Verrette.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Mae Hollier; his sons, Dennis (Lisa), Donald (Shively) and Patrick (Annette); and his sister Delores Matt. He is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
