She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Taft Cashwell; her parents, Rev. H. Clyde Allen and Mamie Bowers Allen; her children, Sandra M. Youngblood and David Ray Moon, Jr.; and her former husband David Ray Moon, Sr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Hodge of Tigerville, SC, Cheryl Medlin (Robby) of Easley, SC and Vicki R. Moon of Sevierville, TN; and her grandchildren, Angela Simpson (Scotty), Kimberly Wood (Robby), Shane Youngblood (Dana), Marina Ortiz (Nando), Dawn Livingston (Jesse), Kristina Lewis, Brad Jennings (Nikki) and Robert Medlin (Tasha). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Memorial Park (7 Duncan Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690).
