She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pickney Brookshire and Mary Pruitt Brookshire; her husband Hugh Grumbles; and her children, Alvin Kenneth Grumbles and Terry Lee Grumbles.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Hugh Grumbles (Amy) of Charlotte, N. C., Gwendolyn Faye Muehlhausen of Ladera Ranch, Calif and James William Grumbles (Debbie) of Indian Land, S. C.; and her sister Francina Mott (Bill) of Medway, Ohio. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four step grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
