We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, at the age of 94, Evelyn Childs Wood (Travelers Rest, South Carolina), born in Marietta, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Childs, Sr. and Myrtle Springfield Childs; her brothers, Robert Childs, Jr., Morris Childs and Jerry Childs; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest C. "Red" Wood; her children, Charles E. Wood (Dana Zak) of Mayfield Heights, OH and Jan E. Wood of Greenville; and her caregivers, Carolyn, Kathy, Beverly, Saira, Caroline, S. C. House Calls, Natalie and Ashton.
