It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Essie Hoffpauir (Travelers Rest, South Carolina), born in Mamou, Louisiana, who passed away on August 23, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha McCauley and Patrick McCauley; her child Burkman Soileau; her husband Clarence Hoffpauir; her sisters, Winnie Morvant Picard, Wilda Smith and Bossett Reed; and her brothers-in-law, Ivy Morvant, Bill Picard, Dallas Smith, Francis Reed, Roland Esthay and David H. Redd.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Redd of Lake Charles, Ferrell Soileau of Lake Charles, Joseph Craig Soileau of Sulphur and Curt Soileau (Nell) of Eunice; and her siblings, Pat Lynn Esthay of Moss Bluff and Jimmy McCauley of Mandeville.
