He was predeceased by: his parents, Erik G. Gidewall and Florence E. Gidewall. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gidewall; his children, Elizabeth Sizemore (Bobby), Erik Gidewall and Edward Gidewall (Jessica); and his brother Kenneth Gidewall (Carolyn). He is also survived by grandchildren.
